How do you know if you need a new mattress?
This is not a simple answer. The Best way is to pay attention to how often you wake up throughout the night and how you are waking up in the morning. Do you feel sore? Shoulders hurt? Hips hurting? Then it may be time to explore the new mattress options on the market.
My Mattress is 5 years old but Im waking up in pain. What should I do?
As we get older our body composition changes. What may have felt good a few years ago may not be providing the same type of comfort our bodies are needing now. I would invite you in to Mattress Xperts, bring your favorite pillow and test out a few mattresses on our Showroom.
Our Associates will offer some guidance and show you a few mattresses. If you let them know that you just want time to feel the mattress they will give you all the time you need. We are not Pushy.. and understand.

It is of the opinion of Mattress Experts that a growing child should sleep on a mattress that is firm with comfort layers on top.
What is a "firm" Mattress?
Firmness of a mattress comes within the coil system or foams. A Mattress can be firm (within the mattress) yet, soft with comforting layers. A hard mattress is a mattress that is firm with less quilting or comfort layers on top.
WHAT IS COIL GAUGE AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Coil gauge refers to the thickness of the coils in a mattress. The lower the gauge number, the thicker and firmer the coils. A higher gauge number indicates thinner and softer coils. The coil gauge plays a crucial role in determining the overall support and durability of the mattress. For individuals seeking a firmer mattress, a lower coil gauge is recommended especially for adults.
